Edgeworks Technology helped Spot Devices implement their "Spot Infrastructure Management Applications" (SIMA) web-based application suite for controlling, monitoring, and management of Spot Devices' systems. Depending on the application and system configuration, Spot offers different levels of SIMA connectivity and response, ranging from real-time subscription service to next business day, per-use service. SIMA is responsible for managing everything from remote device configuration, dynamic transit arrival notification, in-road crosswalk and lighted stop bars, and calendar-activated school zone warning light systems.
